Chasing Ice

Sometimes you see something and you feel like being part of it. The landscape of Earth is changing as we speak and there are few brave souls out there who are trying to get the worlds attention towards it. James Balog is one such guy, hats off to him and his crew to make this happen. I'm so going to watch this as soon as I get my hands on it.

Where the time stands still

'Narna' is a small village in the state of Madhya Pradesh (M.P.) India. Everything about this village is serene and it has a very calming effect on the senses. The mud walls are perfect to take on the severe heat wave this part of India faces during the long summer days.   I was there during one of those heat waves and was surprised to see such chilled out group of people living in harmony. The villagers were friendly and they even invited us to their homes. This kind of hospitality can only be experienced in a small place and is unimaginable in a big city where even the neighbors are suspicious of each other. I was so kicked and excited as soon as we entered the village that it was only halfway during my visit to the village that I realized my ISO was set on 800!!  This worked for me in this particular case as I ended up adding grain to the images shot on low ISO later on. Definitely one of the most photographically fulfilling day.  Check out more im...

Kanha Earth Lodge

The property is close to the Kanha National Park. There are loads of outdoor activities to keep you busy even if you decide not to visit the national park. The food is great with some great service to back it all up. A must visit for someone looking for a holiday in MP, India.

Shooting Star

Shot the iconic Mercedes Benz M-Class in the dusty plains of MP and then up in the Himalayas. The shots were supposed to have a Travel feel to it and highlight the car at the same time.

The River Song

I could hear the bird singing or was it my imagination. At that moment I didn't care, everything was melodious and peaceful and it was a moment in time. I have tried to capture a few more of such moments and I hope some of you will be able to relive that moment through these images. Please let me know if you do as it will inspire me to capture more of such moments.
